Installs the encoder you need to File Export as mp3 (but I extracted libmp3lame.dylib from the Contents folder to my /usr/local/lib directory (but had to create lib as the root user first. On the Mac a dynamic library (dylib) has an 'install name'. The install name is a path baked into the dynamic library that says where to find the library at runtime. When you link against the dylib this path is saved in your binary so that your binary can find the dylib at runtime. If I place my compiled lib into the default plugin folder and start Cinema 4D app alone my dylib and so my xlib could not be loaded. Where to put my dylib? I tried several folder.
I have a libfoo.dylib provided by a third party that I need to use in an iOS app. The dylib was used during development and this was not a problem, but now there need to be iTunes compatible app versions.

I change the dylib install name path to @executable_path/Frameworks/foo.framework/foo, then I rename libfoo.dylib to foo and put that in the framework instead of the foo that was put there by xcode.
In my app project I add the framework to embedded binaries. The app builds but running throws this error:
